What’s Brewing August

Picture of two beer glasses, what's brewing

On August 9th, Nuvodia and Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted What’s Brewing, a community event for local businesses to come together, network, and drink a few cold brews. Hosted at Nuvodia’s office in Spokane Valley, this month’s What’s Brewing featured local brews from YaYa Brewing Company and Trailbreaker Cider and a speaker session led by Blue Stiley.  With over 50 guests in attendance, we had the opportunity to learn from Blue Stiley, a humans connection expert with over a decade of experience coaching businesses and business leaders through how to build genuine connections in the workplace. As a community leader, Blue Stiley spoke about the importance of building genuine connections rooted in authenticity and a desire to know and help each other. Stiley said, “Even if there is a hard barrier, there is a way to make a connection to someone else, even if it seems difficult. I help people and businesses see the benefits in helping people make a real and actual connection. Success is based on each and every connection you make.” If you are interested in learning more from Blue Stiley on connection building and community, check out his book, The Sum of 4 on his website linked here.

After the event, Nuvodia’s Marketing Specialist, Cassie Morden said it was a, “must-attend event, honestly, what I really like about the event is that everyone comes together and it’s a nice way to get multiple businesses together who normally wouldn’t interact.”  Blue Stiley boosted the energy in the room as this summer’s What’s Brewing featured long conversation and meaningful connection. If you are interested in representing your local business at the next What’s Brewing on September 13 from 4-5PM, register for the event here. You can check out more specific event details here. We look forward to seeing you at the next What’s Brewing.
